You read blogs everyday from your favorite writers and you find yourself wondering how they can write so often and so consistently when you struggle.

Instead of thinking someone is better than you. Think that they are at a different stage in their life than you.

They may make more money or lift heavier weights, but at one point they were in your shoes. They were making the same money you make today. Or lifted the same weights you lift today.

The difference is that they persisted and kept growing.

There is nothing stopping you from doing the same thing. If you persist and continue to grow, you will reach that level one day. Then some young buck will look up to you hoping they can reach your level.

At that glorious moment, you’ll be able to look smug and preach some questionable bits of wisdom while also giving real actionable advice. And then he too will be able to pursue greatness. Welcome to the layer cake, son.
